KAVVOON normally does not store full bank card numbers.

When the user authorises it, KAVVOON may use approximate or precise location to:

  • payment providers;
  • mapping or address services;

  • external listing sources when their reuse is authorised;
  • Media or Events sources.

  • authenticate users;
  • publish and manage listings;
  • enable searches;

  • manage messages and followers;

The user must not publish:

Messages may be recorded to enable their transmission, consultation, security, abuse prevention and dispute resolution.

KAVVOON does not freely access private messages. However, access may occur when this is necessary to:

  • protect a user.

39. Matching and Artificial Intelligence

KAVVOON may use automated or artificial intelligence systems to:

  • classify listings;
  • suggest relevant listings;
  • detect duplicates;
  • improve descriptions;
  • propose categories;
  • detect suspicious content;
  • connect buyers and sellers.

These tools may produce recommendations. They do not replace the user's judgment.

Where KAVVOON would take a solely automated decision producing significant legal effects, the user would receive the necessary information and could request human intervention where applicable law so requires.

40. Recipients and Subcontractors

Data may be transmitted, to the extent necessary, to:

  • the hosting provider;
  • the payment provider;
  • the email provider;
  • the SMS provider;
  • mapping services;
  • support tools;
  • analytics providers;
  • IT specialists;
  • legal and accounting advisors;

KAVVOON does not sell its users' personal data.

41. Transfers Abroad

Certain providers may process data outside Switzerland.

KAVVOON ensures that transfers are based on recognised guarantees, including:

KAVVOON implements appropriate technical and organisational measures, including:

  • updates;
  • incident management procedures.

No transmission over the internet can however be guaranteed as absolutely secure.

44. Rights of Data Subjects

Where KAVVOON actively targets persons located in another country, additional rules may apply.
